Consultations

Personal and health information will be collected and handled in accordance with Australian privacy legislation, including the Privacy Act 1988 and the Health Records and Information Privacy Act 2002 (NSW). This information is necessary to provide safe and effective care and may be shared with your referring doctor or other healthcare professionals involved in your treatment.

Telehealth Consultations

Telehealth consultations are conducted using Halaxy’s secure platform. Halaxy does not record or store audio or video, and all sessions are encrypted to protect your confidentiality.

You understand that telehealth is optional and that your consent applies across multiple sessions during your care. Notes will be taken during each session, and relevant treatment information may be emailed to your nominated, secure address.

While every effort is made to protect your privacy, complete confidentiality cannot be guaranteed when using third-party technology. It is your responsibility to review the privacy terms of any platforms used (e.g., mobile apps, email).
